Declaration Practice: a guide for your next round
A clear plan starts with the current position. Check whether a complete 13-card hand can satisfy every declaration requirement. Take the next action only when the current step is clear. Work at your own pace. Start a 10-question session. Read the visible rule label and wild rank, if shown. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.
500 stored and rule-checked questions; ten questions per session. Questions can repeat across sessions. Practice is solo, with no rating, cash reward or account.
Give this approach a try
Begin with the objective. All cards need a non-overlapping grouping, at least two sequences and at least one pure sequence. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.
Your goal
Check whether a complete 13-card hand can satisfy every declaration requirement. Use another round to revisit a decision. A clear plan starts with the current position.
The playing sequence
- Start a 10-question session. Read the visible rule label and wild rank, if shown.
- All cards need a non-overlapping grouping, at least two sequences and at least one pure sequence.
- Study the complete hand before answering. Choose Valid or Not valid.
- Read the explanation after submitting. Each question accepts one submitted answer.
- Continue to the tenth question for a session score; start another session for a new selection.
Choosing and moving on screen
Tap the answer buttons or selected card; the deadwood exercise uses a numeric input. Next question appears after an answer. Check the relevant controls before continuing. Treat this as a chance to practise one rule.
Try this example
Example hand: 7♦ 6♦ A♣ J♦ Q♣ Joker 10♣ K♦ 8♦ Q♥ A♠ 10♦ 2♥. Wild rank 10. No full grouping meets the two-sequence and pure-sequence requirement. The penalty for this hand is 2 points. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
Watch out for this
Before making a move, check the cards in view. Do not judge only the best three cards; every remaining card matters. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
Questions about this game
What is the aim?
Check whether a complete 13-card hand can satisfy every declaration requirement. Look at the complete hand before deciding. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
How do I use the controls?
Tap the answer buttons or selected card; the deadwood exercise uses a numeric input. Next question appears after an answer. Before making a move, check the cards in view. Use another round to revisit a decision.
Which format is available?
500 stored and rule-checked questions; ten questions per session. Questions can repeat across sessions. Practice is solo, with no rating, cash reward or account. A clear plan starts with the current position. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
What should I check before a move?
Do not judge only the best three cards; every remaining card matters. Take a moment to read the table. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
Can you give an example?
One pure run, another joker-assisted run and two complete sets can cover a valid 13-card hand. Before making a move, check the cards in view. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
How many questions are available?
This exercise contains 500 stored questions. A session selects ten without repeating within that session. Take a moment to read the table. Check the relevant controls before continuing.
Can I change a submitted answer?
No. Read the explanation, then continue. Start another session to practise again. Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Use another round to revisit a decision.
Are the answers checked against the rules?
All cards need a non-overlapping grouping, at least two sequences and at least one pure sequence. Keep the active rule in mind. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
Will I always see new cards?
No. The bank is finite, so another session may include a previously played question. Use the rule sheet as a reference. Check the relevant controls before continuing.
What does the score measure?
The score is the number of correct answers in this ten-question session. It is not a skill certificate or a prediction of match results. Work at your own pace. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.
